Low reviews made me skeptical on purchasing this couch for $500, but I decided to anyways and I don’t regret it. It shipped in three separate boxes, and nothing was damaged. I opened all of the pillows and cushions first and put them aside to allow them time to inflate to their perfect form. Took me about 3 hours with breaks alone to assemble this, and I was thankful the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Upon completion, I noticed two parts don’t sit quite flush (1. The storage ottoman and 2. The front piece that conceals the pull out bed). I attached a photo of the ottoman not sitting flush.
It doesn’t affect the function, simply push them into place prior to putting the cushions back and that seems to do the trick. It’s more on the firm side, which I’ve been preferring over the years. I haven’t slept on it yet, but I can lie on it fully in sofa form with no issues.
The color is a perfect grey, as described. The cup holders are wide enough for my coffee cups, which is a lifesaver. Back isn’t thick enough for cats to sit on it, so mine lounge on the seat cushions. Once you’ve tested it a few times, opening the bed aspect gets easier over time. My son loves sitting on it when we watch movies, and he’s 5. I’m hoping to get quite a few years from this couch. I would recommend this to others if you’re also looking for the modern version of the pull out bed couch.
